Greater Houston Service Awards – Nominate

The Greater Houston Service Awards celebrate the power of volunteers to spark change and improve the Houston area through community service.  The awards originated over 33 years ago and since then, hundreds of honorees have been recognized and celebrated.

Whether it’s being a positive role model to kids, tutoring students in math, science or reading, creating a corporate volunteer network , or providing meals to the hungry – the Greater Houston Service Awards embrace the challenge of tackling the unmet needs of the Houston community through volunteer action.

A diverse panel of community judges review and choose those who will be honored at the awards luncheon in the spring.

The Greater Houston Service Awards celebrate the power of volunteers to spark change and improve the Houston area through community service.  Award nominees have each answered the call to “Be the someone who makes a difference.”  They have each answered the call to “do something about this” or “fix that” or “think about this in a different way.”  They didn’t wait for someone else to step up or take charge.  They rose to the challenge, took action and made a profound impact.

How can you become the next “Be the someone?”
