Veterans Corps

Veteran Leader Corps recruit, train, and support veteran volunteer leaders who will support ongoing service efforts. In turn, each volunteer leader will support new or expanded year-round veteran serving programs and projects in their communities. With nearly 1 millionsoldiers transitioning out of the military in the next four years, The Veteran Leader Corps seeks to help them readjust to family and community. The program focuses specifically on providing employment support services and community engagement opportunities for veterans. An added aspect of the program is that many veterans, military spouses, and military kids are engaged as volunteers in their community.
