The Harris County Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Management (HCOHSEM) is proud to announce its first EM Impact program. EM Impact is a two-day event designed to provide a supportive and educational environment for young women (ages 18-22) interested in exploring a career in emergency management. The program will host its first cohort in June of 2023. The curriculum is designed with an emphasis on emergency management, diversity, equity and inclusion, and women’s empowerment.

Harris County Citizen Corps is partnered with Volunteer Houston to host the event website and process payments. Volunteer Houston is a program of Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston, a 501c3 and United Way organization. For this reason, sponsorship and exhibitor payments are made to Interfaith Ministries-Harris County Citizen Corps. In-kind donors must complete Interfaith Ministries’ in-kind contribution form. All sponsors and in-kind donors will receive a letter thanking you for your tax-deductible gift.
