About Brooke Campbell, CNP

Brooke Campbell, CNP, is the Director of Volunteer Houston, an AmeriCorps NCCC alum, rescue kitten mom, back porch gardener, international traveler, INTJ (information architect), Certified Nonprofit Professional, and wife. Brooke’s passion for volunteering began as a young girl when she accompanied her parents on a trip to deliver a home baked casserole to a man living in a small, hand-crafted shed deep in the woods of East Texas. The passion that was sparked that day has developed into a fulfilling career as a nonprofit professional. As the “Service Learning Initiator” for her AmeriCorps NCCC team, she has since focused her efforts on creating the space for intentional service learning reflections among program participants, and staff members, in each of her professionals roles. Brooke currently serves on the Harris County Long-Term Recovery Committee Steering Committee, as the Co-Chair of the Volunteer Management Workgroup, on the Points of Light Affiliate Disaster Committee, on the Power Tools for Nonprofits Advisory Committee, and on the Goodwill Industries Houston Business Advisory Council.
